I have a little man with really bad Excema, however, I find that I hate spending money on things like oatmeal bath. So I looked into it and found out…
All you need to do is grind old fashioned oats in the food processor until it is dust. If it makes the warm water milky, then it’s perfect! Half of a small container yielded me a good deal of oatmeal bath.
In addition, I threw in a drop or two of lavender essential oil to make the bath smell amazing.
Super easy fix to dry skin!
As I lay in bed with my two babes, I truly am appreciative for all that I have.
A coworker of mine had one of the loves of their life taken from them too soon this weekend. I can not even begin to fathom what their family is going through. The loss of a child is like no other. I can not even pretend that I understand.
What I can do is love my babies until they can’t take it anymore. I can hug them, kiss them and tell them I love them along with everyone else in my life. I can put down the iPhone for a bedtime story, or just for cuddles. I can take that 5 minute break from homework to hear their insane requests for outlandish toys on TV or ice cream before dinner.
I can remind all of you, my readers, to tell those around them you love them. Hug them, kiss them, squeeze them tight, because somewhere someone may have just been robbed of those special moments with someone they love.
We as people need to cherish the time we have, and celebrate life before it’s too late…
This month eMeals.com is offering an awesome holiday menu FREE with sign up.
The best part about the menu?
Not only do you get a choice between paleo or clean eating , but they are healthy!
I added one of the awesome holiday treats they offer in the picture to the side. I also added another bonus at the end of this entry.
The Frosted Pecan Tart looks fantastic and tastes even better.
With warm notes of pecan and cinnamon with a whole wheat crust with a hint of honey you will not be disappointed.
When I made it for my friends they absolutely loved it and even led to a do you pe-can or pe-con debate!
The other picture I am showing you all at the end, is the paleo turkey option they include with the paleo holiday menu.
I mean just look at these options! YUM!
When you head over to eMeals.com you will have a choice of multiple different dinner plans as well as lunch and breakfast add-on plans. The plans come in different options like paleo, mediterranean, low fat, classic, vegetarian, low carb,slow-cooker, and more!
I absolutely love eMeals.com and would reccomend to anyone. In fact, I recently told my friend who is interested in transitioning to paleo all about eMeals.com. I will absolutely be doing this neat trick I found on Pinterest!
I was beyond excited when I got the email to review Mother’s Therapy Organics!
The lovely package M.T.O sent! I swear it smelled so fresh just opening it up!
Both of my babes have extremely sensitive skin, with Bex having the ultimate issues. Mother’s Therapy Organics sent me 3 of their different products to sample along with two on the go containers of their hand sanitizer. While the germ-figh’n hand lotion, cool as a cucumber is marketed towards sanitizing as well as moisturizing before and after diaper changing I found myself wanting to use it all the time! Luckily they also sent the hand sanitizer, skin revitalizing for all the time whether it was on the go or at home! This was a life saver this week and I’ll tell you why.
I have been sooo sick and while I have still been watching the babes along with going to work, no one else has gotten it. I truly believe it’s because I was washing my hands and then sanitizing with this awesome sanitizer! The smell is amazing and it’s very mild, as not to overwhelm those of us who just can’t handle those strong aromas. I let my co-workers (we all work in childcare) use it and they kept all saying
“It smells so fresh!” & “Wow! I love how it isn’t sticky feeling like other sanitizers.”
Don’t even get me started on the Mother’s Therapy Organics Baby Lotion, Soothing Relaxing Moisturizing. It is absolutely amazing. My babes get allergic reactions to almost all lotions I put on them with the exception of a few. The first day this package came in the mail I couldn’t wait to get the babes in a bath and use this lotion after. With its light, creamy feeling both of them absolutely loved it and no one complained they felt icky (this often happens with those heavy, unscented lotions) The best part…. no reaction. It was so sensitive and awesome that we had no issues & it has become a regular part of our night time routine.
Now that everyone was patient here is the best part…..

I totally failed a lot of my monthly challenges. I have binged on junk food on bad days, spent way too much time on Facebook, forgot to document my yoga and gratitude and totally neglected, my blog, baby.
So today I pulled the trigger and deactivated Facebook. I know that I should probably have a page for my Tastefully Simple and for this blog, but I needed to so that I could make sure to give myself the break I need especially since school is starting this week! I would never want to lose all my pictures so I won’t totally delete forever. Although I already do feel like I am concentrating more on blog topics and spending more time with the babes.
Tonight we went to the fair and it was a blast! I even posted a picture on my Instagram of Penny riding the motorcycles. (Find me: Mommyhoodmania) We even let the kids eat the free twinkies they were giving out and I had a gigantic corn dog which I guarantee I will pay for later..but thats another blog post! HAHA Beckham won a rainbow light saber and Penelope won a purple glitter dolphin as well as claiming ownership of the inflatable hammer her dad won. I found the cutest lunch boxes at the John Deer stand that I just had to buy the kids for lunch bunch. They will be perfect for their bento boxes and cups
The cup I bought!
Beckham’s lunch bag
Penny’s Lunch Bag
All in all deleting facebook has been a great decision already!
I can’t wait for you all to read some of the blogs I have coming up including one about Emeals, Kairos Life, and another about a young adult book!
Good things are coming folks!
